Ninja Warrior refers to a very famous obstacle course in which skilled athletes have to pass four stages differing in intensity. If they finish all four stages, they are called ultimate ninja warriors and are rewarded with 2 million yen. The stages are extremely difficult and most people fall out in the first round.
The obstacles change on a regular basis to ensure that it is always challenging. One of the most difficult obstacles is called the “Jumping Spider” and I have to admit, that I would NEVER, EVER (not even with a million years of training) be able to do it. You have to jump on a trampoline and then kind of wedge yourself in between two walls, and then spider walk all the way to the other side. This is on the first stage so it’s not even the intense stuff. Man I’m such a pansy
The piccies below are a little small, but you can kind of get an idea

Another, VERY tricky obstacle, is called the Salmon ladder. It’s a little hard to explain this one, so I will just link you up! Sorry, the quality is not so great!
Makoto Nagano
The person I like the most is called Makoto Nagano. This dude is so friggen awesome. He’s a very modest Japanese fisherman who competes in Ninja Warrior very regularly. He is the second person who finished all 4 stages of Ninja Warrior. I found a very kewl youtube video that shows him doing all 4 stages.
I must say, I’ve been watching Ninja Warrior almost every night and the course really gets soooooo tricky, but Makoto keeps doing really well. He is EPIC.
